Acting on behalf of private clients, Edwards & Co acquired a 4,844 sq ft convenience store for £1,430,000.

The Co Op, situated on Market Street in Hoylake, is a former converted pub occupying a large prominent site in the heart of the town. It is let by way of a new 15 year lease to Co Op Group Food and has the benefit of RPI linked reviews and a parental guarantee.

Martin Hamer of Edwards & Co comments "We were delighted to acquire this property for our clients, especially given the current demand for foodstore investments. Given the strong property fundamentals this is an excellent defensive acquisition in these challenging times."
